Slacken screw/bolts (1)


The lock striker (2) must be movable.
Otherwise the door lock can be damaged when closing the front door (6).

Remove cover (5)

Slacken screw/bolts (4)


Loosen bolts (4) only slightly.
Otherwise too much play at the contact surfaces of the hinges can complicate the adjustment.

Adjust gap dimensions "BC, DA, DB, DC" by moving the front door (6)

Slacken screw/bolts (3)


Loosen bolts (3) only slightly.
Otherwise too much play at the contact surfaces of the hinges can complicate the adjustment.

Adjust the transitions to the front fender and A-pillar by moving the front door (6)

 Helper required.
The contours of the fender and A-pillar must be flush with the contour of the front door or project by a maximum of 1 mm.

Tighten screws (3)

 Screw/bolt, hinge to front door

Adjust transition between front door (6) and B-pillar by moving lock striker (2)

 Contour of front door (6) must align with contour of B-pillar or protrude by max. 1 mm.
At the same time, the front door (6) must close easily.

Tighten screws (1)

 Bolt, lock striker to B-pillar

Repair paint damage on bolts (3, 4).
