Notes on carrying out repair work in the vehicle interior

Remove

1

Actuate handle (1) and open cover (3)

Actuate release handle (13) and open luggage compartment stowage tray (2)

Unscrew bolts (4) from left and right side of luggage compartment stowage tray (2)

Release catch hook (5) from cover (6) on left and right side of luggage compartment stowage tray (2)


Release catch hooks(5) carefully.
Danger of breaking cover (6).

Lift cover (6), pull cover (7) to left and right side of load compartment floor (2) together with cover (6) and remove

Lift cover (9) in area of locks (8) and mark installation position of locks (8)

Remove screw/bolts (10, 11)

Unscrew bolts (12) and remove release handle (13) with locks (8)



Install

Tighten release handle (13) with bolts (12)

 Ensure that cover (9) is seated correctly on release handle (13).

Position locks (8) on luggage compartment stowage tray (2) and screw down on luggage compartment stowage tray (2) until it contacts locks (8) using screws (10, 11)

 Observe markings.
Do not tighten screws (10, 11).

Tighten bolts (11)

Tighten screw/bolts (10)



Check

Close cover (3)

Fold over luggage compartment stowage tray (2) and check whether locks (8) are locked

 The locks (8) should easily and correctly lock in the corresponding lock striker of the vehicle.

If complaint present



Correct position of affected locks (8)

Actuate release handle (13), open luggage compartment stowage tray (2) and check whether locks (8) unlock correctly

 The locks (8) should easily and correctly lock in the corresponding lock striker of the vehicle.

If complaint present



Correct position of affected locks (8)



Install

Actuate handle (1) and open cover (3)

Actuate release handle (13) and open luggage compartment stowage tray (2)

Position cover (9) in area of covers (7) on luggage compartment stowage tray (2)

19

Push cover (7) up to left and right side of luggage compartment stowage tray (2)

20

Arrest cover (6) on left and right side of luggage compartment stowage tray (2)

21

Tighten bolts (4) on left and right side of luggage compartment stowage tray (2)

22

Fold over load compartment floor (2) and lock on vehicle

Close cover (3)
