1 | Remove cargo space floor and lay down on work bench with top down | See Operating Instructions | |
2 | Unscrew bolts (6) in area of telescopic rail (3, 5) | Replace self-locking bolts (6). | |
3 | Unscrew spring mounts (18) and remove | When removing frame (2) remove only spring mounts (18) in area of telescopic rails (3, 5) | |
4 | Remove springs (19) and thrust pieces (20) from bolt mounts (21) | ||
5 | Remove spacers (17) | In area of telescopic rail (3, 5) | |
6 | Actuate release handle (15) and slide frame (2) back | The frame (2) should be released from the floor plate (1) to remove | |
7 | Remove frame (2) from floor plate (1) | ||
8 | Unscrew screws (4) and remove telescopic rail (3, 5) from frame (2) | ||
9 | Unscrew bolts (8) from slide (7) | Replace self-locking bolts (8). | |
10 | Pull back slide (7) and unscrew screw sockets (16) | Avoid damage. | |
11 | Remove rear cover (13) from floor plate (1) | ||
12 | Remove springs (14) from release handle (15) | ||
13 | Unhook control cables (22, 23) from release handle (15) | Installation: The catch hooks of the control cables (22, 23) should catch audibly. | |
14 | Remove release handle (15) | ||
15 | Unclip control cables (22, 23) from slide (7) | ||
16 | Unscrew nuts (26) | ||
17 | Pull catches (25) out of slide (7) | Installation: Clean thread of catches (25) and apply locking compound. | |
18 | Remove slide (7) from floor plate (1) | ||
19 | Loosen strips of felt (24) and remove control cables (22, 23) | Check control cables (22, 23) for damage, replace if necessary. | |
20 | Unscrew screw sockets (16) | In area of covers (10, 11, 12) | |
21 | Drive out bolt mounts (21) and remove | Avoid damage, use suitable subsurface and tool. | |
22 | Remove covers (10, 11, 12) | ||
23 | Assemble in reverse order |
