1 | Open liftgate | ||
2 | Loosen left curtain (1) on pushbuttons (2) from window frame lining (3) | ||
3 | Loosen right curtain (1) on pushbuttons (4) from window frame paneling (3) | ||
4 | Unclip cover (5) by hand | ||
5 | Mark installation position of curtain rod (6) | Not when replacing curtain rod (6). | |
The curtain rod (6) may be bent up slightly on some vehicles. | |||
6 | Unscrew screw/bolt (7) | Installation: Observe marking of installation position on curtain rod (6) before screwing in bolt (7). Install curtain rod (6) with bending pointing upward. | |
7 | Remove spacers (8) | ||
8 | Push curtain rod (6) to left or right into window frame lining (3) until the other end of the curtain rod (6) is guided out of the window frame lining | ||
9 | Pull curtain rod (6) out of window frame lining (3) and remove together with curtains (1) | ||
10 | Remove both curtains (1) from curtain rod (6) | Only when replacing curtains (1) or curtain rod (6). | |
11 | Install in the reverse order |
