Danger! | Risk of injury caused by body parts being trapped or crushed when working on partially open Vario roof (stop mode) or in its closing area as a result of the Vario roof suddenly collapsing | Secure Vario roof with a suitable special tool. | |
1 | Move Vario roof into intermediate position and secure | The C-pillar should be positioned at approx. 90°. | |

2 | Unclip left C-pillar paneling (1) and right C-pillar paneling (2) with mounting wedge and remove. | Installation: Replace damaged clips (3). Pay attention to correct seat of seal (arrows) on left C-pillar cover (1) and on right C-pillar cover (2). | |
