Remove rear-end door seal in upper area from carcass flange

Remove/install

Unclip A-pillar paneling on left and right

 Installation: Ensure that A-pillar paneling arrests correctly in frame.

Remove inside rearview mirror

Unscrew bolt (1) from sun visor (2) on left and right

Remove sun visor (2) on left and right

Unscrew bolt (3) from mirror adapter (4) and remove mirror adapter (4).

Remove rear dome lamp

Remove rear-end door seal in upper area from carcass flange

 Installation: Ensure that seal is seated correctly to prevent leakage.

Remove seatbelt on passenger side from belt guide

Fold over seat backrest on passenger side

Remove head pad (5) on left and right

 Only on vehicles with sidebags (FFO), code I13.

 The head pad (5) must be replaced because it is glued to the body and is damaged during removal.

 Installation: Clean contact surfaces of head pad (5) with suitable cleaning agent.

Before pulling protective foil off of head pad (5) position flush with door seal (6) (arrows) and mark position.

Unscrew bolt (7) from headliner (8) on left and right

Unscrew bolt (9) from headliner (8) at rear

Pivot headliner (8) downward on passenger side, carefully remove edge stripping (10) from glass sliding roof (11) and remove headliner (8) toward rear from vehicle.

 Installation: Insert assembly cord (12) into bottom lid on edge stripping (10).

Open bottom lip on edge stripping (10) with assembly cord and press headliner (8) slightly downward.

Install in the reverse order

Glue on load protection hook covering (13) with suitable glue.

 Only model 450.3 Canada, code L27.

A load protection hook is installed here.Loosen prepunched passage on replacement part.
