Remove/install

Connect battery charger

Remove paneling from soft top at front

Move soft top into intermediate position and secure

Carefully knock off left and right rivet (2)

Unhook edge stripping (3) from hook (4)

Lay soft top down on windshield frame toward front by hand

 Helper required.

Remove blind rivet on front retaining strip on headliner (5) and remove front retaining strip on headliner (5)

Remove blind rivet on center retaining strip on headliner (6) and remove center retaining strip on headliner (6)

9

Unlock electrical connector on rear compartment lamp and disconnect

10

Remove front left and front right tension cable on headliner (1) from soft top mechanism

Remove blind rivet on rear retaining strip on headliner (9) and remove rear retaining strip on headliner (9)

Open zipper (10) on rear retaining strip on headliner (9)

 Installation: Match ends of zipper and close zipper  (10) with   closing pliers by pulling once.

Remove tension cable on headliner (1)

Move soft top bow to intermediate position and secure

Detach retainer profile (11) on headliner (1) from soft top bow

Detach retainer profile (12) on headliner (1) from rear window frame

17

Open zipper (14) above rear window and remove headliner (1)

 Installation: Match ends of zipper and close zipper  (14) with   closing pliers by pulling once.

Install in the reverse order
