Remove/install

Completely open corresponding sliding door and remove screws (2).

Release edge guard (5) in front lower area (arrow).

Remove grab bar from the B-pillar.

Pull away B-pillar trim (4) in the bottom area and remove screw (3).

Unclip exit lamp (6), disconnect electrical connector (8) and remove exit lamp (6).

Remove trim (1) upwards and guide out under B-pillar trim (4) in this connection.

 Installation: Ensure trim (1) is correctly seated on retaining clips (7).

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Perform function check of exit lamp (6).
