1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m) | ||

3 | Remove bolts (3) | ||
4 | Unclip trim (1) from instrument panel (arrows) | Remove trim (1) together with the frame (7), display (4), and Audio/COMAND control panel (5). | |

5 | Remove trim (1) from the instrument panel until the electrical connectors (6) are accessible | ||
6 | Disconnect electrical connectors (6) and remove trim (1) with frame (7), display (4), and Audio/COMAND control panel (5) | ||
7 | Remove frame (7) | When replacing trim (1). | |
8 | Remove display (4) from trim (1) | When replacing trim (1). | |
9 | Remove Audio/COMAND control panel (5) from trim (1) | When replacing trim (1). | |
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
