1 | Remove rear roller sunblind (2) | ||
2 | Open closet (8) | ||
3 | Remove clip (9) | ||
4 | Starting on left side, remove roller blind (3) from sealing frame (10) (arrow), and take out | Installation: Only install roller blind (3) after checking the function of the lock of roof stowage box flap (1), reading lamp, left roof stowage box and reading light, and right roof stowage box. | |
5 | Disconnect electrical intermediate connector on left roof stowage box reading lamp (E11/3x1) and electrical connector on right roof stowage box reading lamp (E11/4x1) | ||
6 | Expose electrical wiring harness on left stowage box reading lamp and right stowage box reading lamp on rear roof stowage compartment | ||
7 | Remove bolts (5) | Installation: Center roof stowage box flap (1) before tightening bolts (5). | |
8 | Remove plastic shims between hinges of roof stowage box flap (1) and carrier of roof stowage box flap (1) | If installed. | |
9 | Open roof stowage box flap (1) | ||
10 | Press pin on retaining clip (6) on corresponding check strap inwards into roof stowage box flap (1) | Installation: Replace retaining clips (6). | |
Assistant required for holding. | |||
11 | Remove roof stowage box flap (1) | ||
12 | Remove pins of retaining clips (6) above hinge openings from roof stowage box flap (1) | When reusing roof stowage box flap (1). | |
13 | Install in reverse order | ||
