When replacing rear control unit (N22/6).

Installation: Transfer buffered basic data to new rear control unit (N22/6).

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory

Remove side rear side paneling

Remove impact damper (1).

Unscrew nuts (2)

Remove rear control unit (N22/6) from bracket and disconnect all electrical connectors.
