Remove

Remove rear door side window.

Loosen screw (2).

 Do not remove screw (2).

Loosen nut (3).

 Do not unscrew the nut (3).

 Socket wrench

Remove grommet (5).

Slacken nut (6).

 Do not remove nut (6).

Remove triangular window (1) in direction of arrow (A).

Unscrew nuts (3, 6).

Screw new nuts (3, 6) by a few turns onto thread at triangular window (1).

Remove screw (2) at triangular window (1) and attach to new triangular window (1).

When replacing triangular window (1).



Install

Insert triangular window (1) into window channel and position.


When inserting triangular window (1), ensure seal (7) is not damaged.
Otherwise noises from water entry can occur.

 Installation: Ensure that triangular window (1) is correctly seated in guides (arrows) of beltline reinforcement (4).

Attach nuts (3, 6) by hand.

 Nuts (3, 6) are tightened after adjustment of triangular window (1).

Attach screw (2) by hand.

 Screw (2) is tightened after adjustment of triangular window (1).

Install rear door side window.

Adjust triangular window (1).

Install grommet (5).
