Removing

 Danger!

Risk of injury caused by slipping when inserting blade in the multicutter and by glass splinters when cutting out bonded windows

Always interrupt air supply when inserting or removing blade.

Wear protective gloves and safety glasses.

Open electrically operated side window of driver and front passenger door

 This prevents the rear window (5) from being pressed outwards by the air pressure when a door is closed before the bond has completely cured

Disconnect ground cable of batteries

Remove trim from C-pillar

Disconnect heated rear window connector (+) (X19/4), heated rear window connector (-) (X19/5) and connector (1)

Release connector (2) and disconnect

Remove cover

Pull off gasket (4)

Cover body and interior compartment with plastic foil

Mask window frame with adhesive tape

Install suction cups

Suction lifting device

Cut out rear window (5) with cutting blade.

Remove rear window (5).

Replace gasket (4)



Install

Prepare rear wall window body flange (5) for glazing

Apply glue to rear window (5)

 Install rear wall window (5) within 10 minutes before adhesive force of glue starts to decrease

Install cover

Connect connector (2) and lock

Install molding onto C-pillar
