Mask fender in area of A-pillar and install protective fender cover

Remove paneling on A-pillar.

Remove wiper system

Unclip rear pillar panel in front area on windshield molding and roof frame

Remove inside rearview mirror

Remove overhead control panel

Remove mounting plate for inside rearview mirror

Remove sun visors

Remove screw from mount for sun blind

 Danger!

Risk of injury caused by slipping when inserting blade in the multicutter and by glass splinters when cutting out bonded windows

Always interrupt air supply when inserting or removing blade.

Wear protective gloves and safety glasses.

Replace windshield rubber spacers (arrows)

 Remove protective foil only after centering windshield.

Align windshield in body opening

Remove protective foil from rubber window spacers.

Apply adhesive material

Install windshield within 10 minutes before adhesive force of adhesive material starts to decrease.

Install windshield

Open a side window in the vehicle to prevent the windshield from being pressed outward by air pressure when the door is closed.

 Aid of helper required. The curing time calculated from the time the windshield is installed, is approx. 1 h.
