 Danger!

Risk of injury caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities.

Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.

Remove paneling from front roof frame

Remove paneling on A-pillar.

Remove ornamental frame on windshield.

Remove wiper system

Open engine hood and raise to vertical position

Mask fender in contact surface to A-pillar paneling with adhesive tape (arrow) and install protective fender cover

Support rain gutter (1) with piece of wood.

For this purpose unscrew screw from mount and turn mount to side (arrow)

 Danger!

Risk of injury caused by slipping when inserting blade in the multicutter and by glass splinters when cutting out bonded windows

Always interrupt air supply when inserting or removing blade.

Wear protective gloves and safety glasses.

Replace rubber window spacers

 Remove protective foil only after centering windshield.

Align windshield in body opening

 Aid of helper required.

 Observe gap

Distance between top edge of window and front edge of roof

Remove protective foil from rubber window spacers.

Apply adhesive material

 Install windshield within 10 minutes before the adhesive force of the adhesive material starts to decrease.

Install windshield

 Open a side window in the vehicle to prevent the windshield from being pressed outward by air pressure when the door is closed.

 Aid of helper required. The curing time calculated from the time the windshield is installed, is approx. 1 h.

Remove piece of wood, turn mount to installation position (against direction of arrow) and fasten with screw.

Install ornamental frame on wind deflector

Remove adhesive tape on fender in contact area to paneling on A-pillar and fender cover
