Install outer rear roof frame (1), fit and fix in place.

Ensure that screw points for liftgate hinges are easily accessible on vehicles with liftgate.

Outer rear roof frame (1)   (area A).

Grind inert gas spot welds down flat.

Clean weld joints.

Restore surfaces on outer rear roof frame (1) and smooth.

Remove shavings and drill chips.
