1 | Expose spot welds on front roof frame (1) and cut off (area A). |
2 | Remove front roof frame (1). |
3 | Expose spot welds on mounting support (2) and cut off (area B). |
4 | Remove mounting support (2). |
5 | Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas. |
Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides. |
6 | Remove grinding dust and drill chips. |
7 | Apply zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges. onto connecting flanges that are no longer accessible after installing side roof paneling . |
