Punch holes for inert-gas plug welds on roof paneling front section (1) (areas F and F1).


Transfer hole dimensions (area F) from vehicle.

Grind mating surfaces on roof paneling front section (1) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.


Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

Apply zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges.
