The next steps are shown on model 907.733 with code D03 (roof and rear-end doors, high version) except code T19 (left sliding door) on the left side of the vehicle and must be carried out in the same way for vehicles except code T16 (right sliding door) on the right side of the vehicle in the event of damage.

Install side roof paneling (1), fit, and fix in place.

Commercially available devices/tools
Clamping pliers (Standard)

To fit the side roof paneling (1) to the front side wall paneling, use set of templates.

Tack side roof paneling (1) (areas A and B).

Side roof paneling (1) (area C).

Surface grind inert gas tack welds (areas A and B) and inert gas spot welds (area C).

Angular grinder

Clean weld joints.

Rotary wire brush

Remove shavings.

Wet and dry vacuum cleaner

Inert gas weld in intervals and allow to cool down in between.
Heat distortion is reduced as a result.

Surface grind inert gas spot welds (area D) and inert gas welds (area F).
