Mark separating point on side roof paneling (1) (area A).

Mark separating point along edge.

Disconnect separating point from side roof paneling (1) (area A).

Body power jigsaw

Dispose of the leftover piece that has been separated off.

Punch holes in side roof paneling (1) with a diameter of 6 mm (area B).

Hole punching pliers 6 mm

Grind areas around holes (area B) down to bare metal.

Rotary wire brush

Remove shavings.

Punch holes in side roof paneling (1) with a diameter of 6 mm (areas C and D).

Grind mating surfaces on side roof paneling (1) in cross-hatched area and around holes (areas C and D) down to bare metal.

Remove shavings.
