Remove screw/bolts (3).

Mask roof paneling (2) with 2 layers duct tape all the way around.

 Adjust cutting blade for multicutter and cut adhesive material (4) all the way around at a cutting depth (a) of 21 mm.

 Avoid damage to paintwork.

Remove roof attachment (1).

 Commercially available devices/tools
Cup suction tool/shackle (for removing and installing windows)

 Helper required.

Remove textile adhesive tape.

Level remaining adhesive material (4) on roof cutout down to a thickness of approx. 1 mm using scraper.

If the leveled adhesive material (4) remains longer than 2 h in the ambient air



Treat leveled adhesive material (4) on roof cutout with activator.

Do not repair paint damage with primer in visible area.

Treat bonding surfaces with primer.

Only on newly painted surfaces.

Suction off vehicle interior and gluing flange.
