Apply seam seal to roof attachment

Apply adhesive material to roof attachment (1) and roof paneling (2) all the way around to create a uniform seam sealant (3).


Commercially available devices/tools
Electric and pneumatic cartridge gun


The processing time of the adhesive is approx. 30 to 40 minutes from the time of application. The curing time of the adhesive material is at 20 °C and normal air humidity min. 12 h. Low temperatures as well as air humidity increase the curing time.

Remove excessive adhesive material.

Spray seam seal (3) with smoothing agent and smooth.

Remove adhesive residues from paint surfaces.

Clean surfaces sprayed with smoothing agent.

Remove smoothing agent.
Otherwise the smoothing agent leaves permanent marks on painted surfaces.

Do not damage seam seal (3).
Otherwise leaks may occur.
