Use insulating mats. Wear protective clothing, safety glasses and a protective mask. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. Use air extraction system.

Surface-grind inert gas plug welds on carrier (3) (areas B, C, F, and G).

Clean weld joints.

Install complete sliding door entry and weld in

Install complete sliding door entrance sections (1, 2), fit, and fix in place.

Drill holes with a diameter of 7 mm (area I).


Drill holes (area I) through complete sliding door entrance sections (1, 2) only.
This prevents damage to the body panels located underneath.

Remove drilling chips.
