Do not cut too deeply.

Expose spot welds on outer sliding door entry (1) (areas B, C and D).

Cut out spot welds on outer sliding door entry (1) (areas B, C and D).

Remove damaged outer sliding door entry (1).

Grind down mating surfaces to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

Remove shavings and milling chips.

Zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges.
