 The next steps are shown on the left component part and must be performed in a similar way in the event of damage on the right side of the vehicle.

1	Scribe separating lines on door frame paneling bottom section (1) (areas A and B).

 Take over dimensions (a, b) for separation lines of vehicle.

2	Cut door frame paneling lower section (1) (areas A and B).

3	Remove door frame paneling bottom section (1).

4	Grind down mating surfaces to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

 Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

5	Remove shavings.

6	Zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges.
