| Scribe separating points and cut (areas E and F).
|
|
| Transfer separation points from vehicle.
|

| Grind mating surfaces on B-pillar outer section (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.
|
|
| Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.
|
3
| Remove shavings and drill chips.
|
4
| Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
