The next steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle for model 910.631 with code D03 (Roof and rear-end doors, high version) and must be performed in a similar way in the event of damage on the right side of the vehicle.

1 | Install and fit A-pillar outer section (1), hinges, front door and sealing frame. |
2 | Check gaps using feeler gauge and adjust. |
3 | Fix A-pillar outer section (1) in place. |
4 | Remove front door, hinges and sealing frame. |
5 | A-pillar outer section (1) (areas C, D and E). |
6 | A-pillar outer section (1) (area C1). |
7 | Surface-grind inert-gas plug weld (area C1). |
8 | Attach sheet metal lugs (areas F and I) to A-pillar outer paneling (1). |
9 | A-pillar outer paneling (1) (areas F, G, H, H1 and I). |

10 | Weld in A-pillar outer section (1) with (areas A and B). |
11 | Grind MIG welds down flat (areas A and B). |
12 | Remove shavings. |
13 | Restore surfaces and smooth (areas A and B). |
Different methods can be used to restore the surfaces. |
