Expose spot welds on right inner B-pillar (1) and front inner panel (2) and cut out (area A, B, C, and D).

Expose spot welds on mounting console (3) and inner entrance (4) and cut out (area E).

Expose spot welds on mounting console (3) and reinforcement panel (5) and cut out (area F and G).

Expose spot weld on right inner B-pillar (1) and cut out (arrow).

Expose spot welds on right inner B-pillar (1) and cut out (area H).

Remove right inner B-pillar (1).

Straighten mating surfaces and grind down to bare metal.


Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

Remove grinding dust.

Coat inside of spot welding flanges with zinc dust paint.
