Expose spot welds on right inner B-pillar bottom section (1) and front inner panel (2) and cut out (area A, B, C and D).

Expose spot welds on mounting console (3) and inner entrance (4) and cut out (area E).

Expose spot welds on mounting console (3) and reinforcement panel (5) and cut out (area F and G).

Expose spot weld on right inner B-pillar bottom section (1) and cut out (arrow).

Mark separating line (7) on right inner B-pillar (6).


Dimensions:
a = approx. 100 mm

Cut right inner B-pillar (6) at marked separation line (7).


Do not cut too deeply.
Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.

Remove right inner B-pillar bottom section.

Straighten mating surfaces on right inner B-pillar (6) and grind down to bare metal.


Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

Remove grinding dust.

Coat inside of spot welding flanges with zinc dust paint.
