The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1 | Install outer rear wheel well (1), fit and fix in place. |
2 | Drill Ø 6.5 mm rivet holes in outer rear wheel well (1) (areas A). |
3 | Remove outer rear wheel well (1). |
4 | Deburr rivet holes on both sides. |
5 | Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint. |
6 | Install outer rear wheel well (1), fit and fix in place. |
7 | Outer rear wheel well (1) (areas B and C). |
8 | Rivet outer rear wheel well (1) with Ø 6.4x14 blind rivets (area D). |
9 | Clean weld joints. |
10 | Remove shavings and drill chips. |
11 | Coat welding areas no longer accessible after installing side wall paneling with zinc dust paint. |
