1	Mark separating point on C-pillar (1) (area A).

 Transfer separation point from vehicle.

2	Separate at separating point on C-pillar (1) (area A).

3	Grind mating surfaces on C-pillar section (2) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

4	Remove shavings and drill chips.

5	Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

 Do not coat bonding surface with zinc dust paint (area B).
Otherwise there may be adhesion problems.

 Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces (area B).

6	Mark separating points on inner side wall (3) (areas C and D).

 Transfer separation points from vehicle.

7	Separate at separating points on inner side wall (3) (areas C and D).

8	Grind mating surfaces on inner side wall section (4) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

9	Remove shavings and drill chips.

10	Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

11	Grind mating surfaces on outer rear wheel well (5), rear reinforcement (6), and front reinforcement (7) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

12	Remove shavings and drill chips.

13	Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
