Grind down sheet metal remains (8) up to edge of outer corner pillar paneling (5).

Grind down sheet metal remains (9) on sliding door entrance.

Punch holes for plug welding on side wall inner section (10) with Ø 6 mm and a maximum hole interval of 95 mm (areas B).

Level adhesive residues on side wall reinforcements down to 1 mm.

Grind mating surfaces on side wall inner section (10) down to bare metal on both sides (area C).

Remove grinding dust and drill chips.

Coat inside of spot welding flanges with zinc dust paint.
