Punch holes for plug welding on side wall paneling (1) with Ø 6 mm (area A).

 Transfer position of holes from vehicle.

Mark separating points on side wall paneling (1) and cut (areas B).

Remove section (11).

Mark separating point on side wall paneling (1) and cut (area C).

 Dimensions:
c = approx. 1 mm

 Beaded edge must remain.

Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal on sidewall paneling (1) in crosshatched areas.

 Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

Remove grinding dust and drill chips.

Coat inside of spot welding flanges with zinc dust paint.
