Prepare lower rear side wall paneling in front of wheel arch

1	Punch holes for "MAG" welding in bottom rear sidewall paneling in front of the wheel arch (1) (area A).

 Commercially available devices/tools
Hole punching pliers

2	Grind down mating surfaces on bottom rear sidewall paneling in front of the wheel arch (1) to bare metal in cross-hatched areas and around the holes (area A).

 Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

Rotary wire brush

3	Remove shavings.

Wet and dry vacuum cleaner

4	Zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges.
