Observe dimensions (b and c).

Disconnect separating points from rear side wall paneling (1) (areas B and C).

Dispose of cut-off pieces.

Punch holes in rear side wall paneling (1) with Ø 6 mm (area D).

Drill holes in rear side wall paneling (1) with Ø 7 mm (areas E and F).

Grind mating surfaces on rear side wall paneling (1) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas and around holes (areas D, E, and F).

Grind holes (area D) on the rear side down to bare metal.

Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

Remove shavings and drill chips.

Wet and dry vacuum cleaner

Zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges.

Grind mating surfaces on rear side wall paneling (1) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.


Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.
