Remove detachable parts in the repair area

Remove screws (2)

Heat up cutting wire and press through the adhesive bead of the center firewall part (1)

 The cutting wire is included in the adhesive parts kit.

Cut through the adhesive bead of the center firewall part (1) with cutting wire and remove

 Aid of helper required.

Install

Prepare center firewall part (1) for gluing in

Prepare body flange of the center firewall part (1) for gluing in

AR62.25-P-5753-08RR

Apply adhesive material

The center firewall part (1) must be positioned on the body flange within 2 min after applying the adhesive material,
otherwise paint adhesion problems may occur.

 Durability, measured from the time when the center firewall part (1) is installed, will be reached after approx. 2 h. The rated accident strength is reached only after approx. 8 h.
Apply adhesive bead evenly at a height of approx. 12 mm.

Position center firewall part (1) on the body flange

 Aid of helper required.
Ensure that the center firewall part (1) is seated correctly in the guides.

Firmly press on the center firewall part (1) all around

Tighten screws (2) of the center firewall part (1)

If necessary, paint repair area and adjacent surfaces
