Remove/install

Disconnect ground line from battery and remove transmitter key

Remove driver seat

Remove screws (2) and remove cover (1)

Remove bracket for relay (11) and bracket for control unit (12, 13) and lay down in seat base (7) with lines connected

Depending on the vehicle equipment, a number of various relay brackets (11) can be installed.

Open safety flap on seat base (7)

Unscrew bolts (5) and lay retainer/relay holder (6) down on seat base (7) with lines connected

Unclip cover (8)

Unscrew bolts (9) and remove parking brake lever (10)

Lay parking brake lever (10) down to side with cables connected.

Expose rear seat frame screwed connection

Slightly lift floor mat behind seat base (7) until rear bolts (4) are accessible.

Unscrew bolts (4) and remove seat base (7)

Installation: Ensure that lines are not pinched below seat base (7).

Check contact surface of seat base (7) for complete paint, if necessary, repair with brush

Install in the reverse order

Set time on instrument cluster

Set time on timer for auxiliary heater
