Remove/install

Remove inside cover on dropside.

Remove the rear spoiler on platform of rear dropside (20).

 Installation:
The rear spoiler on platform of rear dropside (20) must be flush with the rear dropside (23).
The rear spoiler on platform of rear dropside (20) may be damaged otherwise.

 Unscrew nuts (25) with washers (24) for this.

Unclip covers (14).

Remove covers (15).

 To do so, unscrew screws (19) with spring lock washers (18), washers (17) and pilot bushings (16).

 Bolt, cover to rail on front rear spoiler on platform

Remove brackets (10).

 For this purpose, remove screws M8x25 (12, 13) with washers (11).

 Installation: Tighten screws M8x25 (12) first.

Remove fastening clamps (7).

 For this purpose, remove screws M8x40 (9) with washers (8).

 Bolt, fastening clamp for rear spoiler on platform

Disconnect electrical connector (2) from electrical connector (3).

Disconnect the cable ties at the fasteners (5).

 Installation: Replace cable ties.

Remove electrical wiring harness (4) from platform channel.

 According to degree of damage.

Remove the rear spoiler on platform (1).

 Installation:
The inside of the rear spoiler on platform (1) must be flush with the contour of the dropside opening on the platform.
This can result in damage otherwise.

 Installation: In order to ensure a continuous transition from the rear spoiler on platform (1) to the dropside opening, press the rear spoiler on platform (1) on the respective side of the vehicle to the outside when tightening the brackets (10) and fastening clamps (7). Helper required.

Install in the reverse order.
