Remove/install

Open rear pop-out window.

Remove handle (3).

 To do so, unscrew nuts (4).

 Removal: Mark installation position of handle (3).

 Installation: Observe installation position of handle (3).

 Nut, handle to rear pop-out window to hardtop

Remove cover (2).

 To do so, remove retaining clips (1).

 Installation: Replace retaining clips (1).

Detach springs (10).

Unclip cable guides (6) from catch hooks (9).

Detach cables (8).

Unscrew nuts (7).

 Nut, lock cylinder to rear pop-out window to hardtop

Remove lock cylinder (5).

 Installation: Ensure seal (11) is correctly seated.

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Check function of lock cylinder (5).
