Open platform cover (1) and dropside

Remove gas-operated struts (6)

Unclip pneumatic springs (6) from mounting bolts (7) of platform cover (1).
Helper required.

Remove platform cover (1)

To do this, remove the hinge bolts (2).
Aid of 2 helpers required.

Install

Install platform cover (1)

To do this, position hinges (3) of platform cover (1) on cutout (arrow a) of sealing rail (4) and install hinge bolts (2) as shown.
Aid of 2 helpers required.

Engage hinge bolts (2) in cutout (arrow b) on sealing rail (4)

Install gas-operated struts (6)

Unclip pneumatic springs (6) on mounting bolts (7) of platform cover (1).
Helper required.

Close platform cover (1) and dropside
