Partially remove detachable parts for installing new wheel well on the left

Remove paneling at center piece in front of windshield

Remove clutch master cylinder

Remove pedal bracket of brake pedal

Remove bracket (1)

 To do this, unscrew nuts (2) and remove screw (3).

Clean connections of brake lines (4, 5, 6, 7) on line connectors (8)

Assembly cleaner

Mark assignment of brake lines (4, 5, 6, 7) to line connectors (8)

Remove brake lines (4, 5, 6, 7) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs


Do not permanently deform brake lines (4, 5, 6, 7).
Otherwise, the brake lines (4, 5, 6, 7) will be damaged.

 Installation: Observe assignment of the brake lines (4, 5, 6, 7).

Remove hoses (9) of fuel lines (10)

 Seal connections with suitable protective covers and collect escaping fuel with an absorbent rag.

Remove bracket (11) with fuel lines (10)

Model 470, 471 with engine 699

 To do so, unscrew nuts (12).

Remove screws/bolts (13)

Route electrical subharness (14) out of working area

 To do so, disconnect all electrical connectors from the electrical subharness (14) in the vehicle interior.

Move remaining electrical subharnesses out of working area

Route hood cable out of working area

Remove brackets (15)

Remove bracket (16)

 To do this, remove screws (17).

Remove insulation (18)

 To do this, unscrew nut (19).

Install in the reverse order

 Brake lines, brake hoses
