Disconnect battery ground line

After detaching the ground line, wait for at least two minutes.
This guarantees that the on-board electronics have been deenergized and avoids any damage.

Remove door frame seal (1) in working area

Note position of joint (2).

Fold back floor covering (3)

Remove bolt (5)

Raise damping mat (4)

Remove parking system control unit (N62)

To do so, remove bolts (6) and detach electrical connection (7) from parking system control unit (N62).

Install in the reverse order

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read fault memory
