Remove/install

Connect vehicle diagnosis system and commission PARKTRONIC control unit (PTS) (N62).

If PARKTRONIC control unit (PTS) (N62) is replaced.



Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Remove cover below instrument panel on driver's side.

Unscrew nuts (1) and detach PARKTRONIC control unit (PTS) (N62) from holder (3).

Model 447 except code XM0 (Facelift), model 448

Unclip PARKTRONIC control unit (PTS) (N62) from control units holder (4).

5.1

Disconnect electrical connectors (2) and remove PARKTRONIC control unit (PTS) (N62).

5.2

Disconnect electrical connectors from PARKTRONIC control unit (PTS) (N62) and remove PARKTRONIC control unit (PTS) (N62).

Install in the reverse order



Perform function check of parking assistance systems.
