Remove/install

Release catch hook in direction of arrow (arrows A) and pull PARKTRONIC sensor (1) out of the holder (3).

Remove PARKTRONIC sensor (1) far enough until the electrical connector (4) is accessible.

Release and disconnect electrical connector(4).

Remove PARKTRONIC sensor (1).

Check decoupling ring (5) for damage.

Installation: Check that the decoupling ring (5) is correctly seated on the PARKTRONIC sensor (1).

If the decoupling ring (5) is damaged,

replace the decoupling ring (5).

Install in the reverse order

Check

7

Perform function test of parking system.
