1.1 | Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS | Only if instrument cluster is replaced (P15). | |
2.1 | Perform control module adaptation, make written record of odometer reading | Only if instrument cluster is replaced (P15). | |
3 | Take plastic cover (1) off instrument cluster (P15) | Replace plastic cover (1) if required. | |
Screw slot of plastic cover (1) in vertical position "locked". SScrew slot of plastic cover (1) in horizontal position "open". | |||
4 | Unscrew screws (2) | Do not damage instrument panel and instrument cluster (P15). | |
5 | Remove left air vent | ||
6 | Push out instrument cluster (P15) from behind (arrow) | Do not damage instrument panel and instrument cluster (P15). | |
N | Release plug connections (P15.1 and P15.2) and pull off connections | Plug connections are color coded. | |
8 | Remove instrument cluster (P15) | Do not damage instrument panel and instrument cluster (P15). | |
9 | Install in the reverse order | ||

10.1 | Read buffered values in new instrument cluster (P15), enter total distance counter manually | Only if instrument cluster is replaced (P15). | |
11 | Read fault memory with STAR DIAGNOSIS and erase |
