Remove/install

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key

Remove left or right outside mirror

Remove trim panel of outside mirror (1)

Remove cover (2)

Installation: Observe installation position for cover (2).

Remove seal (3)

Unlock lock (5), pull out electrical connector (6) in direction of arrow and detach connector housing (4)

Detach electrical wiring harness (7) from mount of outside mirror


When pulling out, ensure unobstructed movement of electrical wiring harness (7) in the opening (arrow A).
Otherwise the electrical wiring harness (7) can get damaged.

Remove bolt (8)

Detach electrical wiring harness (7) from housing of outside mirror and remove together with left outside mirror 360° camera (B84/1) or right outside mirror 360° camera (B84/2)

Installation: Make sure that the electrical wiring harness (7) at the outside mirror housing is routed correctly.

Install in the reverse order

Perform initial startup of left outside mirror 360° camera (B84/1) or right outside mirror 360° camera (B84/2) using diagnostic system

If left outside mirror 360° camera (B84/1) or right outside mirror 360° camera (B84/2) has been replaced.

If left outside mirror 360° camera (B84/1) or right outside mirror 360° camera (B84/2) has been removed.
