1 | Unscrew bolts (1) | ||
2 | Remove instrument cluster (A1) assembly together with top instrument cluster paneling (3) and front instrument cluster panel (5) | ||
3 | Open retaining bracket and unplug electrical connector (6) | ||
4.1 | Unplug electrical connector (7) | Only for vehicles without tachometer. | |
Do not damage catch lugs. | |||
4.2 | Remove AM interference suppression filter (8) for tachometer | Only for vehicles with tachometer. | |
5 | Pull out LCD display adjusting knob (9) | ||
6 | Pull instrument cluster covering (4) forwards out of catch mechanism and remove | ||
7 | Slightly raise front instrument cluster panel (5) and remove from top instrument cluster paneling (3) | Carefully remove front instrument cluster panel (5) to avoid damaging the LCD display adjusting knob (9). | |
8 | Unscrew bolts (10). | ||
9 | Remove top instrument cluster paneling (3) | ||
10.1 | Unclip rear instrument cluster panel (11) (arrows) and remove | Only if instrument cluster (A1) or combination dimming film (13) is replaced. | |
Do not damage catch. | |||
11.1 | Remove bulbs (12) with bulb socket | Only if instrument cluster (A1) or combination dimming film (13) is replaced. | |
12.1 | Remove combination dimming film (13) | Only if instrument cluster (A1) or combination dimming film (13) is replaced. | |
13 | Install in the reverse order | ||
