2 | Print out the "Protokoll Tanksystem, Formular" (tank system event log form), fill it out, and attach to the vehicle in a place where it is easily visible. | ||

3 | Perform commissioning of instrument cluster (A1). | When replacing the instrument cluster (A1). | |

4 | Move steering wheel toward rear and down. | ||
5 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
6 | Unclip cover (1) at bottom (arrows) and release at retaining clamps (2). | Release cover (1) on both sides. | |
7 | Unscrew bolts (3). | ||
8 | Unclip frame (8) and remove. | The frame (8) is attached via catches (7) and the upper catch tabs (9). | |
9 | Swivel instrument cluster (A1) out far enough until the electrical connectors (4, 5) are accessible. | ||
10 | Disconnect electrical connectors (4, 5). | The number of electrical connectors may vary depending on the equipment. | |
11 | Remove instrument cluster (A1). | Installation: Firstly insert guide lugs (6) into the opening intended for this purpose; then swivel instrument cluster (A1) downwards. | |
12 | Install in the reverse order. |
