Remove/install

Read out data from camera cover (KAB) control unit (N144) with diagnostic system

If camera cover (KAB) control unit (N144) is replaced.

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key

Remove liftgate paneling

Detach foil on liftgate until camera cover (KAB) control unit (N144) is accessible

Disconnect electrical connector (1)

Remove screws/bolts (2) and remove camera cover (KAB) control unit (N144)

Install in the reverse order

Transfer data read out from the camera cover (KAB) control unit (N144) with diagnostic system

If camera cover (KAB) control unit (N144) was replaced.

Perform function check on reversing camera or 360° camera
