Steps 1 to 9

Remove/Install

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and stage basic data from rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) in STAR DIAGNOSIS

Only when installing new the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).

Installation: Transfer staged basic data to new rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory

Unscrew nut (1)

Unlock and remove locking plate (2)

Move the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) towards the vehicle center and remove until the electrical connectors are accessible

Unlock and separate electrical connectors from rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2)

The electrical connector leading circuit 30 must be disconnected first and contacted last. Unlock and separate electrical connectors ,
